Paid Family Leave - What It Covers & How To Apply

As of July of 2019, OSA members qualify for and may apply for paid family leave benefits which cover three leave situations:

To bond with a newly born, adopted or fostered child.

To Care for a family member with a serious health condition, or

To Assist loved ones when a spouse, domestic partner, child or parent is deployed abroad on active military service.

Paid Family Leave provides:

Paid time off

Job protection

Continued health insurance

Protection from discrimination or retaliation

This single night seminar will provide an overview of the benefit, what it covers, and how you can apply. It will be presented by OSA member Yuhong Cantarella, Benefits Coordinator for the Law Department, who handles the PFL application process for Law Department employees.

Please complete and return the coupon you can download at this link to sign up. The seminar is scheduled for Friday evening October 4, 2019. Registration will take place at 5:30pm. The seminar will run from 6 to 9pm at the OSA office, 220 East 23rd St, Suite 709, NYC.
