In June of 2014, OSA Director of Media Services Rob Spencer and 9/11 Environmental Action Executive Director Kimberly Flynn jointly received the New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health's Karen Silkwood Award for over a decade of work on 9/11 health and safety issues.
