The union's women's committee, chaired by Kimberly Vann, presented a panel of leading women in the New York City labor movement: Yolanda Pumarejo, Executive VP of Social Service Employees Union/Local 371, DC 37 AFSCME, Lee Clarke, Health and Safety Director for DC 37, Diane Stein, the health and safety officer for Teamsters Local 237 and OSA's own Assistant General Counsel Lauren Shapiro. Presentations on financial issues rounded out the program. Vendors offering hand made greeting cards, jewelry and makeup lessons were also part of the evening.
