The Organization of Staff Analysts' 40th Anniversary Celebration

On December 9, 2010, over 700 members and guests packed Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn for a combination holiday party and celebration of the 40th Anniversary of our union. OSA grew out of a professional association among personnel examiners called COPE (Council of Personnel Examiners) that was founded in December 1969. (Okay, so we were really celebrating our 41st birthday.)

Guest speakers included NYS Senator Diane Savino, former Bronx Borough President Fernando Ferrer and Department for the Aging Commissioner Lilliam Barrios Paoli. Awards were presented to all the former chairs of COPE and OSA. Below is a slide show of photos from the event taken by OSA's Director of Media Services Rob Spencer.
