Introduction to Public Speaking

Public speaking is often a very fearful event in anyone’s life. This three-session course on the art of public speaking will help you become a more proficient and effective public speaker. Will this course change your life, give you confidence, raise your self-esteem and help you to a better life? Maybe!

This seminar is full of tips and techniques to overcome your fears and provides the opportunity to practice with a friendly, supportive audience of your fellow union members.

The course is being given on three Wednesdays: October 12th, 19th and 26th, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the union office. Registration starts at 5:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Your facilitator for this seminar is OSA staff member Bobby Lee. He has been the chairperson of the Baruch College Toastmaster’s Club for twenty years and has mentored hundreds of students in the art of public speaking.
